  • Infertility Tips

    • Coping With Infertility

Find a friend, a family member, a counselor, or a therapist to help you through the emotional strain infertility can cause. It helps to have someone to listen to you. It also helps to have this person gently inform you when you are being irrational. Even though you may not like what they say, more than likely, you need to hear it.

    • A Friend Is Experiencing Infertility

Many times, the best thing you can do is to just listen and offer a shoulder to cry on. Do not tell her everything will be okay. Don’t keep secrets. Just because your friend is experiencing infertility doesn’t mean she should be excluded from the opportunity to celebrate the happiness of others.

    Prematurity Tips

    • Premature Birth

Spend time at the hospital learning about the medical equipment your baby is attached to. Learn your child’s patterns so that you will be able to help the hospital staff with his/her medical decisions. Ask questions! Be an advocate for your child.

    • Kangaroo Care

Participate in Kangaroo Care with your newborn baby. It’s an amazing experience and the skin-to-skin contact helps your baby thrive in the NICU.
